JRR Pedals Janice

The Janice is a natural, transparent drive pedal that sounds like an extension of your amp. It is a modified version of the Vemuram Jan Ray pedal, which is itself a modified version of the Paul Cochrane Tim pedal. The Janice takes the warmer, smoother voice of the Jan Ray and gives it the extra features and characteristics of the Tim pedal, providing the best of both worlds in a compact, versatile package.

The Janice features a second footswitch for adding a pre-gain boost with its own tone control. The boost section adds both volume AND gain. The boost section's dedicated tone control rolls off low-end, helping to tighten up solos and keep high-gain tones from sounding flabby.

The Janice features true bypass switching. It does NOT run on batteries and must be used with a standard 9V power supply. Any 9V power supply made for pedals will work.
